Philippe Coutinho Hints At Potential Summer Move

Philippe Coutinho has made it clear that he's no longer comfortable at FC Barcelona with his controversial celebration after scoring a stunner vs Manchester United in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League's quarterfinals.

The Brazilian hasn't been the same player he once was during his stint at Liverpool and has drawn a lot of hate from the media and Catalan fans, as he's failed to establish himself as a consistent contributor for Ernesto Valverde's team.

Given the nature of his celebration and his lack of playing time, rumors of his potential summer exit from Camp Nou continue to pile up as the playmaker looks clearly upset about his current situation right now.

Moreover, Coutinho himself did nothing but fuel those transfer rumors with his latest comments, flirting with Paris Saint-Germain and the possibility of joining forces with Neymar Jr next season:

“It's always a pleasure to play with him, it's a crack. We played a lot of time in Brazilian youth teams, (Neymar) became a special player. Playing at his side is always a pleasure, even though I haven't had any luck at the club level yet. It would be nice to play with him in a club," Coutinho told De Sola.

Coutinho made it clear that he's not enjoying himself right now in Spain and that he's keen and determined to prove his doubters wrong and will continue to make a statement every time he finds the bottom of the nets for the Catalans:

“I've always been a person with respect to everyone and the truth is that this is for people to see that many times I have to cover my ears to keep the focus on the game or my work to prevent me from being affected. And, well, here (in Barcelona), for much of the press, I do not have this respect, as work and as I dedicate myself to matches and training.”

We'll have to wait and see, but a change of environment seems due for the playmaker, and he'd definitely take a lot of pressure of his shoulders by leaving Camp Nou as soon as possible.
