Following a couple of years where they were pretty quiet in the market, it looks like Real Madrid are finally keen to make a huge splash this summer and offload a bunch of cash in order to find a Galactico.
Players of the likes of Eden Hazard, Mauro Icardi and Harry Kane have been closely tied with a move to Real Madrid for some time now, but apparently, Florentino Perez has his sight set in a different target.
Apparently, Perez would favor signing Neymar Jr among all players in the world, including Eden Hazard, who's repeatedly stated that would love to join Los Blancos.
Even though Real Madrid has enough money in the bank to pull a move off for both superstars, the team sees Hazard and Neymar as incompatible players, according to Don Balon.
Hazard has put his contract talks with Chelsea on hold while Maurizio Sarri has opened the door for the Belgian international to leave Stamford Bridge if he wants to.
Still, it looks like he'd only leave Chelsea to complete a move to Real Madrid, and would otherwise rather extend his stay at London. Also, one of his teammates recently said he thinks the winger will stay put at Chelsea.
"If Eden says he's already made his decision, it means he's going to stay in Chelsea," Cesc Fabregas told Don Balon.
Neymar, on the other hand, hasn't enjoyed his Paris Saint-Germain tenure and would love to go back to La Liga even if that means joining his former rivals.
