It looks like the Paul Pogba saga is finally set to come to an end, as the player's environment has encouraged him to hand in a transfer request to force a move out of Manchester United in the summer.
The French midfielder has been a longtime Real Madrid target and with Zinedine Zidane giving him and his agent Mino Raiola an ultimatum, he knows it's now or never for him.
Pogba hasn't been exactly comfortable at Old Trafford for quite some time now, and The Sun reported that he's already made up his mind about submitting the transfer request.
Zidane has always been fond of Pogba's talents and he's also had nothing but praise for his compatriot, claiming that playing under Zizou's tutelage would be a dream come true for any player.
Also, with Manchester United finishing the season so poorly, it looks like not even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to be able to convince Pogba to stay put at the Theatre of Dreams for an extra season.
The Red Devils missed on the chance of playing in the UEFA Champions League next year after finishing way out of the top 6 of the English Premier League, and that pretty much convinced Pogba to call it a day and join Los Blancos.
Moreover, Florentino Perez is keen and determined to further strengthen Real Madrid's ranks looking ahead of next season and has already made Pogba one of its top priorities for the summer.
The World Cup winner is one of the most talented and versatile midfielders in the world and is coming off a terrific year, at least statistically. Yet, United supporters have never truly cared for him as he's been constantly pointed out as one of the main reasons why they've struggled so mightily over the last couple o seasons.
