Recap: 2019/20 UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw

The UEFA Champions League is set to start a new season where we’ll see the best clubs of Europe going at it to win the prestigious tournament. The competition will start a couple of weeks from now and we can start predicting what’s going to happen, which teams are the favorite to win it all and which one is going to be the group of death.

Today, the group stage draw took place on Monaco, with 32 teams waiting to see what’s next for them in this competition.

This is how groups were drawn in the end:

Grupo A: Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Galatasaray.

Grupo B: Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, Olympiakos, Estrella Roja de Belgrado.

Grupo C: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb, Atalanta.

Grupo D: Juventus, Atlético de Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lokomotiv Moscow.

Grupo E: Liverpool, Napoli, Salzburg, Genk.

Grupo F: Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter de Milán, Slavia Praga.

Grupo G: Zenit de San Petersburgo, Benfica, Lyon, RB Leipzig.

Grupo H: Chelsea, Ajax, Valencia, Lille.

All these teams will try to dethrone Liverpool next year. As usual, Barcelona and Madrid appear as favorite to take the ‘Big Ol’ Ears’ home next season, but clubs like Juventus and Manchester City are ready to make a statement and show that their time to champion has come.

Who is the favorite to win the title? Which group is going to be the hardest-fought? This upcoming Champions League will be closer than in recent years, and we can’t wait for it to finally start.
