Manchester United are considered the favorites to sign RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland, but the Red Devils still have things to figure and obstacles to overcome before putting their hands on the promising attacker.
They’re leading the race for this signature, and are closing in on a £76 million deal with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirming his interest on Wednesday by saying he 'likes the player'. However, this won’t go that easy, as according to The Sun, if they want to sign the Norwegian striker, they will have to pay a figure of £12m to Haaland's agent Mino Raiola.
This report suggests Manchester would be eager to reduce that number, but they know Raiola will need paying to get the deal over the line. Haaland is one of the most exciting young players in Europe this year. So far he’s scored 28 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for RB Salzburg.
United are keen to do business at the turn of the year following a tumultuous start to the season. Haaland will indeed be a great addition to them.
