Kylian Mbappe remains one of the most sought-after players in the world right now, but just like he’s getting a lot of attention in recent times, the French player would demand a huge fee if any top club in Europe wants to sign him.

Although Real Madrid are thought Mbappe’s favorite destination provided that he leaves Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool have been another club linked with the 2018 World Cup winner. Moreover, a potential transfer move taking Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool has been talked up by French journalist Julien Laurens.

Kylian keeps drawing attention every week and the Telegraph claimed that the Reds would be very interested in acquiring his services. Further, Mbappe himself has fuelled talk when he recently praised Liverpool in an interview with BBC Sport. Besides, he also commented that he was proud to see LFC right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold copy his goal celebration.

Laurens has now explained how this deal could be done, saying that as long as Liverpool can come up with the kind of money required to bring the 21-year-old to Anfield, there is a big chance that becomes a reality.

That’s a huge ‘if’, no doubt about it, as Mbappe would likely become one of the most expensive transfers of all time when he leaves PSG. But, in terms of the player choosing to go to Anfield, Laurens doesn’t think there’s a big problem.

“It’s pretty simple if, Liverpool can pay the €300m or maybe €350m with the bonuses, and put that on the table – which is what PSG will ask anyone to sign Mbappe,” he told ESPN FC.

“If Liverpool can afford that, plus give him the wages that he wants, he will consider that offer every single day of the week, because, yes Real Madrid is his dream and one day there is a certainty that he will play at the Bernabeu for Real Madrid.

“But he’s only 21 years of age so there is plenty of time for him to go and play in Madrid one day.

“The fact is that he also would like to play in the Premier League one day, too – and Liverpool is a very attractive proposition for any top player in the world right now with what they are putting together and the project of Jurgen Klopp.

“But again, if they can’t put that money down on the table for an offer, there’s no way he could go there.”

Liverpool are having a terrific run this season, becoming the undisputed leader of the Premier League table after winning 22 of their last 23 games. They just won the Champions League last term and are set to retain their title this year.

They are one of the biggest forces in European football; if they somehow manage to land Mbappe, this team would be nearly unbeatable.
