Even though he’s been sidelined for some time now, Paul Pogba keeps making headlines. The Frenchman is the protagonist of a shocking report coming out in Spain that claims the World Cup winner could be leaving Old Trafford at the turn of the year.

He was heavily linked with an exit from Manchester during the summer, with Real Madrid and Juventus thought to be the main candidates to acquire his services. In the end, none of that happened and Paul stayed put with the Red Devils. He started the season having decent performances, but he’s been out injured for some time now.

Spanish radio station COPE claim he’s recovered from his injury but is not playing for his club anyway. They go further to say United have now decided they’re prepared to sell Pogba in January as long as they receive a fee of around €150 million for their star.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying the 26-year-old is still not fit enough to play, though he never explained when he might return. There is a big chance that Pogba is indeed fit to play and that a January exit is part of the club and player’s plans.

If this turns out to be true, Pogba’s reputation with Manchester fans would be completely destroyed. Several supporters already see the former Juventus star as a big disappointment in the Theater of Dreams, and this would prove many fans’ fears about his attitude and commitment right.

The report also adds that United aren’t happy with Pogba posting videos in which he appears playing basketball despite his supposed injury.

Only time will tell how this thing ends up, but right now Pogba is not in a good position with United supporters. Madrid and Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on the Frenchman, so we’ll see how this develops.
