Transfer News: Antoine Griezmann Opens Up About His Future

Antoine Griezmann is one of the guys everybody's talking about right now, as the Frenchman let everybody know about his decision to leave Atletico de Madrid in the summer, but now it looks like nobody's truly actually willing to pull the trigger on him.

Griezmann was reportedly Barcelona's top target for the summer, but the latest reports now point towards the team and players being kind of wary of making a move for him, especially with the possibility of a Neymar comeback surging out of the blue.

Manchester United were also allegedly interested in acquiring his services, but with them likely to lose several players in the summer, Griezmann may not be keen to complete a move to Old Trafford amid their rebuilding process.

So, right after his France national team beat Bolivia 2-0 on international friendship, the winger was quite honest regarding what's going on with him and where he's going to play next season, even though it wasn't exactly the answer everybody was expecting from him.

"I don't know, that's a good question. Let's see. Everything in its time," Griezmann told reporters (as quoted by AS).

He then quickly changed the subject and looked in clear discomfort about the issue, talking about how honored he was by having the chance to represent his national team, especially after winning the World Cup a year ago in Russia:

"It is always something wonderful to play for the French national team. We enjoy it because it is not every player who can live that. We are here to represent France and French football. We are proud to play in France also," he concluded.

Griezmann is now under fire as he already shut the door on Atletico de Madrid, but he's not truly wanted elsewhere either despite being one of the most talented players in the world. We'll have to wait and see, but it looks like this is far from over.
