Real Madrid continues to put together their squad for next season, after almost securing the signings of superstar duo Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard, with Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen also flying under their radar, according to the latest reports.
However, the team is also figuring out who's got to find a new home starting in the summer, as Zidane has been quite emphatic over who he wants and who's not on his plans going forward, and the team may look quite different to start next season.
So, according to Spanish outlet As, one of the guys that might as well be on his way out is Sergio Reguilon, as he's already drawn a lot of interest and Zidane doesn't trust him enough to give him a long leash in the team.
Alaves, Leganes, and Borussia Dortmund have all inquired about the possibility of signing the Spaniard full-back on loan, given his great talents and terrific displays in both ends of the pitch throughout the entire campaign.
Reguilon had won the battle with Marcelo over the starting left-back spot during Santiago Solari's infamous tenure at Real Madrid, and it looked like the Spaniard was bound for a breakout year next season even amid Zidane's comeback.
However, Marcelo has always been one of Zizou's most important players and he's bound to prove him that he trusts him going forward, so he's allegedly given Reguilon the green light to find a new team in the summer instead of waiting for his turn in the bottom of the bench.
Reguilon has a bright future ahead of him and Los Blancos could really use his services as a backup, but the Spaniard is keen to find more playing time elsewhere, even with an aging Marcelo struggling to be at his best for most of the season.
