It's the dawn of a new era at Internazionale and Nerazzurri supporters have a lot to be excited about, as the team just introduced Antonio Conte as their new boss starting next season.
Conte has a long history of success in the Italian Serie A, and the team just sacked Spaletti in order to finally have a shot at dominating the domestic competition following 8 straight titles from Juventus.
Moreover, the Italian boss surely knows La Vecchia Signora better than most people, as he was the main responsible for their success over the past decade.
However, Conte is well aware of the fact that this club needs to spend a big buck in the upcoming transfer window if they want to compete with the best teams in the country and abroad, and that's why he's already putting together a target list for the team.
According to BBC World Wide, the Italian wants Inter to make a run at Manchester United duo Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, both of them wanting to make a move out of Old Trafford as soon as possible.
“I think now it’s very difficult to talk about this. For sure, we have a plan to try to improve the team. But it will be very important for the players, it will be very important to have a great will and great ambition, me, the players and the club, to try to reduce this gap," Conte told the British outlet.
Sanchez once thrived in the Serie A with Udinese before completing his move to FC Barcelona, and he hasn't been able to live up to the expectations since leaving Arsenal to join Manchester United.
Lukaku, on the other hand, is currently losing ground to Marcus Rashford and has opened the door on a potential move out of the team, even going as far as claiming that he'd like to play in the Serie A one day, so nothing's off the table right now.
