Barcelona keep looking for options to replace Luis Suarez when the Uruguayan decides to call it time with the Blaugrana, and they’ve reportedly set their sights on two Premier League stars to join Lionel Messi and company at the Camp Nou.
The La Liga champions have been linked with several strikers over the last couple of weeks, but there is a pair that’s getting more attention from them in recent times, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.
Rashford, who scored his 50th goal for Manchester United against Norwich City on Sunday, has been linked with the Blaugrana ever since initially bursting onto the scene during the 2015/16 campaign. Even though this season hasn’t been the best for the youngster, Barcelona remain eager to acquire his services, but he’s not the only option.
Harry Kane, on the other hand, has been one of the most prolific strikers in Europe for quite some time now, which has led people to wonder when he will leave Tottenham to go play in a bigger club. Tottenham currently rank 11th in the Premier League table, a situation that could take Kane to call it quits with the Spurs shortly.
According to Mundo Deportivo, via Sports Mole, the Spanish giants have identified the pair as two potential replacements for Suarez, who turns 33 in January. Nevertheless, they add that these two aren’t the only players on Barca’s radar, with Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe serving as the club's top priority ahead of next summer.
Whoever ends up landing in Catalonia will be great for the Blaugrana; Suarez still got it, but he’s not getting any younger and each one of these options could take them to the next level, following a couple of struggling seasons in Europe.
