Barcelona may be set to face Manchester United for way more than just the second leg of this year's UEFA Champions Leagues's quarter-finals, as they've also set their eyes in one of their biggest stars.

Right on the eve of the Red Devils' travel to Camp Nou, Barcelona will try and make a move for Marcus Rashford, one of the world's most promising strikers.

The Catalans are really high on the English wonderkid and wouldn't mind spending as much as £100million in order to acquire his services, according to The Mirror.

Barcelona hold a 1-0 lead over the Red Devils in the European competition, and, judging for what they saw from Rashford during the 1st leg, it looks like they've already seen enough to know he's the right man for their future.

The striker still has one year left on his current deal, so Manchester United are trying to ink him on a long-term deal that could earn him as much as £300,000 per week.

Manchester United have failed to convince the 21-year-old to further extend his stay at Old Trafford, and with them bound to find a potential replacement for Luis Suarez, Rashford's name has strongly emerged as a candidate.

However, they'll have to go toe-to-toe with Real Madrid, who are also allegedly interested in signing the dynamic goal-scorer.

Rashford would be a perfect fit for Ernesto Valverde's team given his ability to play on either flank of the pitch, but he can also work between center-backs as the team's number 9.

Still, he's set to have a starring role under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's command, while he may struggle to find playing time at Camp Nou, even if he's a much better option than the controversial and inconsistent Ousmane Dembele.

As for now, he'll be focused on proving Barcelona exactly why they must signing, as he'll play a major part on the Red Devils' chances to orchestrate another historic comeback.
