There's an ongoing debate in FC Barcelona regarding who to sign to replace Luis Suarez, who's still thriving at Camp Nou but is already 32 years old.
Considering the current state of the market and the fact that there's no way they're going to find a team that's willing to let any of their players go at a fair rate, the Blaugrana are intrigued by a couple of players.
On one hand, there's the man of the hour: Luka Jovic. The 21-year-old has thrived all year long at Eintracht Frankfurt while on loan from Benfica, and he's already drawing the attention of European Giants of the likes of Bayern Munchen.
On the other hand, the Blaugrana have reportedly entertained the possibility of submitting a bid for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann, as the 28-year-old may be interested in finally leaving Wanda Metropolitano.
Nonetheless, it looks like the Catalans have now found a new target for this summer, a young man that will be a more realistic signing than the aforementioned: Marcus Rashford, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The 21-year-old has impressed since making United's first team and even outplayed Romelu Lukaku for the starting striker spot.
Moreover, Ernesto Valverde would be thrilled to have such a versatile and dynamic forward on his team, as he could play on either flank of the pitch, as a playmaker or as the team's number 9 as well.
Rashford and Barcelona seem like a match made in heaven, especially considering he's still under contract until 2020 but contract talks between him and the Red Devils have been put on hold, at least for the time being.
While United would love to work on a new deal to keep him at Old Trafford for the long run, Barcelona's interest may be enough for the English standout to try and force a move out to join them.
