Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly identified his successor in Juventus and has urged the Serie A champions to make a move for this talented youngster. Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund has been picked as CR7’s successor in the Old Lady, but this move won’t come that easy.
The English winger is one of the most promising players in Europe right now, drawing attention from some of the best clubs around the continent, including Manchester United, Manchester City and now Juventus. Knowing all his potential, it’s not a shock that Cristiano is rooting for his team to strike a deal for the Bundesliga star.
According to Don Balon, this has now seen Sancho become a €150 million target for Juventus, in what would be bad news for United and the rest of the clubs interested in the English international.
Even though he doesn’t want to talk about his future, Sancho has been linked with several clubs, with United thought to be the frontrunners to get his signature before Juventus showed up. He’s the type of player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would want for his team, more knowing the bad moment Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are having right now.
Juventus aren’t known by spending lots of money in signings, but Sancho is not a regular player. They already made a splash last season when they signed Ronaldo from Real Madrid, and next summer the history could be the same with the English forward.
As things stand now, one would imagine that Sancho would prefer Juve to Manchester, as they aren’t going through the best moment. Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down as the club’s boss, the Red Devils have struggled to find consistency and compete for big things.
