Manchester United and Juventus are said to be working in some deals for their respective players, but these two giants are ready to go to war for one of the most sought-after players in Europe this season.

United, Juventus are leading a queue of more than 20 teams chasing RB Salzburg wonderkid Erling Braut Haaland, according to recent reports. Haaland has made himself a known name this season, netting 22 goals in 15 games for the Austrian side, which includes a remarkable first-half hat-trick in the Champions League against Genk.

According to the Guardian, these performances have turned a lot of heads to him, with a massive 20 plus teams, including a host of European giants, keeping tabs on this youngster.

United have been aware of Haaland's ability for a long time, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the youngster worked together for two seasons in Norway at Molde. Meanwhile, Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici, was interested in striking a deal for the young talent for just £5.1 million in the summer of 2018.

However, the Norwegian refused to sign with a club where he wasn’t going to receive a lot of playing time.

Now, these two are set to go at it for this signature, but things won’t be that easy. They’ll face very fierce competition from fellow European powerhouses, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Ever since he made it to Salzburg in January 2018 for just around £7.8 million, Haaland's value has gone up to £34.5 million. Yet, the Austrian club expects his price to bump up to more than £52 million at the end of the season.
