Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly set his sights on two Argentinian players to reinforce his side. United have been linked with several players in recent times and now their manager is the one seemingly looking for new assets.
Reports in England claim Ole is interested in signing Lautaro Martinez and Leandro Paredes, two players who are showing good things with their respective sides right now. Martinez has been great for Inter Milan this season so far, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists in 21 appearances for the Nerazzurri.
Barcelona have also shown their interest in signing the 22-year-old striker in January according to Goal.
Paredes hasn’t been much of a regular for Paris Saint-Germain but has managed to feature in 12 matches for the Ligue 1 champions. According to the Mirror, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign the two Argentine internationals and Manchester United would disburse a combined £120 million.
Both players are very good at their respective positions and would be two good additions to the Red Devils. Nevertheless, Internazionale and PSG won’t be too eager to let them go. Martinez has been one of the best strikers in Serie A this season and the Nerazzurri will certainly want to keep him for a while.
Paredes isn’t the biggest star for Les Parisiens, but he’s proved to be a reliable replacement, so it’ll be hard to see PSG parting ways with him this time around.
