It’s not a secret that Paul Pogba hasn’t had a good tenure in Manchester ever since he returned to Old Trafford back in 2016. He’s been linked with a move away from the Theater of Dreams more than once and those rumors get bigger by the day.

However, even though reports suggest he still wants to leave the Red Devils, there are no clubs interested in his services, including Real Madrid, who were linked with a move for the French midfielder over the summer. It was understood that Real were still keen to land the World Cup winner, but the picture doesn’t look that favorable for Pogba right now.

Pogba was sidelined the last couple of months, with growing concern about his fitness at Manchester facilities. Now, a recent report from Football Espana has given an update on this situation, and it doesn’t look like there will be a solution anytime soon.

They quote a report from Marca stating the midfielder wants to move to Real Madrid, but he knows that they won’t sign him just now. Moreover, they also suggest that Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of his compatriot, but another report from El Mundo Deportivo claimed the Real president won’t make any bid higher than €50 million for the 26-year-old.

Having in consideration that The Telegraph reported that United paid Juventus €105 million to reunite with Pogba a few years ago, it would be crazy if they accepted a bid that low.

They add that his contract is due to expire in a couple of seasons, which could lead United to accept a lower bid. Yet, at this very moment, it doesn’t look like Pogba will be leaving anytime soon.
