Real Madrid are reportedly keeping tabs on four young players to bolster their ranks, as they consider further reinforcements for Zinedine Zidane’s team.
Madrid are sharing the top of the La Liga table with Barcelona, as they’ve managed to turn things around and put themselves in a strong position to advance to the knockout stage of the Champions League.
It’s still early to say if they will deliver on their short-term objectives, but Los Blancos are readying moves in the form of some long-term options. According to the Daily Star, via El Desmarque, it’s suggested that Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, RB Salzburg starlet Erling Haaland, Everton’s Moise Kean and Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze are all on their transfer radar.
All these guys are just starting their career, so that means Real Madrid are keen to continue to add young talent to their senior squad to build a long-term vision to go alongside the more senior stalwarts currently in the group.
However, we have to wait to discover if they can actually land all these four names, given the high esteem they have in their respective clubs. For instance, Hudson-Odoi recently signed a new contract at Chelsea and revealed Frank Lampard was a key part for him to stay at Stamford Bridge, as per the Sun.
Moreover, Haaland has drawn a lot of attention to him in recent weeks, so that move won’t come easy or cheap for the Spanish giants. So far this season he’s bagged 26 goals in just 18 games, earning a lot of recognition from some of the best clubs in the world.
There is still time until next summer transfer window, but time will tell if Madrid can land the first two names or if they can swoop for the likes of Kean or Chukwueze instead.
