Transfer Rumors: Real Madrid Desperate To Get Rid Of Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale

It looks like Gareth Bale's days at Real Madrid are pretty much numbered right now, as the team is just desperate to find the way to get rid of him as soon as possible and make room for new signings in the summer.

Bale is no longer welcome at Santiago Bernabeu, as fans have been onto him for a couple of months with constant boos and jeers due to his poor performances since the start of the season.

The Welshman has mightily struggled to take a step up as the team's leader with Cristiano Ronaldo leaving to join Juventus, and his proneness to get hurt has just made things even worse for Los Blancos and the winger.

Zinedine Zidane is no longer counting on him as a part of his project, and, according to Spanish outlet Marca, there's simply no way Bale will stay with the team next season.

Actually, Real Madrid are so keen on getting rid of him, that they're even considering sending him out on a loan with a buy clause and pay a part of his salary, as per the report.

Los Blancos haven't received any offers for 'The Cardiff Express' up to date, even amid the rumors pointing towards Manchester United being interested in the former Tottenham standout.

Bale was supposed to become the team's leader following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, but he had lost his spot on the team's starting XI prior to Vinicius Jr's injury and has failed to impress Zinedine Zidane since he was re-appointed as the team's boss.

Moreover, with the team trying to get their hands on both Eden Hazard and Sadio Mane, it just doesn't feel as if he could win back Zizou's trust any time soon. This one's just a pretty sad outcome for a guy that played a huge role in the team's recent European success and helped them win 4 UCLs in 5 years.
