Given the current moment Real Madrid are going through, it’s not a shock if we see Los Blancos linked with several players over the last couple of weeks. Now the club is reportedly readying a potential €140 million double swoop for Napoli duo Fabian Ruiz and Kalidou Koulibaly next summer.

According to Don Balon, Los Blancos are said to be targeting both Ruiz and Koulibaly for the summer of 2020, with the club getting ready to pay €140 million for them, although their combined price tag is closer to €200 million.

This report also notes that Napoli would reject a €140 million offer for these two players, or would ask Real to include either Isco or James Rodriguez as part of a potential deal. This is a very ambitious move that could pay off for Los Blancos. Ruiz and Koulibaly would improve their midfield and defense instantly, two zones the club needs to reinforce as soon and as good as they can.

Both Ruiz and Koulibaly have become two of the best players in Europe in their respective positions, turning the heads of some of the biggest clubs around the continent, and Madrid are a big example of that.

Following a very disappointing season beginning, Real are ready to step up and come back to the headlines, and these two players may be very helpful for them. Players like Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos are starting to decrease their level and Ruiz and Koulibaly look like the perfect candidates to take over at the Santiago Bernabeu.
