It looks like Real Madrid aren’t backing down on their pursuit of Neymar Jr., as Los Blancos keep studying ways to convince Paris Saint-Germain to let the winger go. They reportedly got an offer rejected by Les Parisiens in recent days, which included Keylor Navas, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and $100 million for the Brazilian forward.

Now, Los Blancos are still on the hunt for Ney, but they 'are seeking assurances' from Paris Saint-Germain over Neymar's injury-prone feet before making a move to sign him this summer. According to Marca, Real have collected information on Neymar's injury history and they 'acknowledge his fragility' over the course of a season.

But while they remain keen to get Neymar out of Paris this offseason, it appears that further guarantees are needed before the club consider placing a huge bid for his services.

Madrid are said to be in a better financial position than their arch-rivals Barcelona and would be able to accommodate the arrival of Neymar onto their wage bill, even after spending over €300 million in transfers this summer.

PSG are now ready to offload the controversial Brazilian given his attitude on and off the pitch and his constant claims of wanting to leave the club this summer. Although Barcelona were thought to have the upper hand for the most part of the summer, Ney might be making his way to Madrid now or even Juventus, who have inscribed their name on the list of candidates for the forward.

It was reported on Thursday that Madrid can afford any move because brand sponsorship brings Neymar £24 million per year. Moreover, he would effectively pay part of his salary as Real receive 50% of image rights, according to AS.

After missing this year’s Copa America, which his national side won, due to a leg injury in a pre-tournament match against Qatar, Neymar hasn’t played with Paris Saint-Germain in the first two games of the season, which has made fans believe he’s not going to last much as part of the club. Yet, now his body issues may complicate a potential arrival in Madrid.
