Sadio Mane keeps attracting suitors thanks to his great performances with Liverpool. This time, the Senegalese striker could be joining a team eager to have European success following years of failures in the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain have identified the Liverpool star forward as their preferred target to replace Neymar if the Brazilian leaves the club next summer. Ney was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the summer, but he couldn’t land in Catalonia.
Yet, he’s still thought to be eager to return to the Camp Nou after a turbulent stint at the Parc des Princes.
The only thing keeping the Brazilian at PSG seems to be the club's refusal to budge from their huge asking price of over €200 million. Barcelona are expected to reignite their interest in the Brazil international at the end of the season, as well as Real Madrid.
Now France Football (via Get French Football News) claim that PSG want Mané to be the man to fill the void in Paris.
Last summer that spot was going to be filled by Paulo Dybala, but Les Parisiens have now turned their attention to the Senegal international to take their squad to the next level. PSG officials are understood to love Mane's work rate in both attack and defense, which is something they have not always seen from Neymar.
Moreover, Sadio knows how to win both individually and collectively speaking, and that mentality is seen as potentially beneficial for the rest of the squad.
He’s a similar player to Neymar, but with some added strengths which the Brazilian does not possess. It remains to be seen if Liverpool will allow this move to happen, more so after reports saw the light linking another of their figures, Mohamed Salah, with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
