The Neymar saga looks simpler and more complicated at the same time, with the Brazilian on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain, but nobody knows where he's going to be playing next season.
However, several reports suggest that either Barcelona or Real Madrid are going to sign the Brazilian forward this offseason, but nothing is confirmed now, much less after the two clubs’ bosses stated things that made their fans dream about a potential arrival of Neymar.
According to Sky Sports, Madrid are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain trying to land the Brazilian star, who joined the Ligue 1 champions in 2017 from Barcelona, but the La Liga club has not yet made a formal offer for him.
With PSG fans upset about this whole Neymar thing and the French side’s boss Thomas Tuchel saying that he understands them, it looks like the 27-year-old is about to leave the club.
Those rumors got bigger when Zidane suggested that Neymar’s arrival in Madrid remains a possibility, as the club has still three weeks to go until the transfer window closes for the rest of Europe.
"Neymar is not [in our squad] but until September 2, anything can happen," Real's head coach said.
"We are with the squad that we have and we are only thinking about that."
They have until September 2 to complete a deal for Neymar, Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen or whoever it is; Real apparently ended their business this summer, but Zidane’s words told otherwise.
Yet, Barcelona remain fierce competitors to get the Brazilian's signature, thus, if Los Blancos wants to put their hands on the former Santos player, they need to move fast before it's too late.
