Zinedine Zidane was reluctant to discuss Toni Kroos' future at Real Madrid, refusing to reveal whether the midfielder will stay with the team at the end of the season, claiming that the team is set to go through a lot of changes.

Last week, As reported Toni Kroos was eager to leave the team at the end of the season, something the German would go on to deny and say it was "absolutely false information".

Still, there's no denying on Kroos'recent decline, after the German was one of the most important players during Real Madrid's recent dominant success at Europe.

Even so, with Real Madrid set to be extremely aggressive in this upcoming transfer window, pretty much all players have become expendable for Los Blancos, and that includes Kroos, who could be replaced by either Paul Pogba and/or Christian Eriksen, one of Zidane's top targets for the summer.

That's why Zidane refused to discuss Kroos' future ahead of Real Madrid's upcoming clash against Leganes on Monday:

"Toni is a key player. He's been at Madrid for five years and has done great things. He's a great player that brings calm. I've always liked him. Everyone speaks about Toni, and other players, in terms of whether I want them or not.
Every player is good and important. There will be changes but not right now, at the end of the season," the Frenchman said.

Kroos has been one of Manchester United's longtime targets, and perhaps he could play a major part on a potential Pogba move, should the Red Devils finally agree to engage in talks regarding a potential move for the World Cup winner.

Gareth Bale could also be on his way out in the summer, but Zidane also refused to further discuss the matter:

"There are seven games left. Let's see how we play. There will be changes but Gareth is part of the team," he concluded.
