LeBron James has once again made history when he took the Los Angeles Lakers to their first NBA Finals appearance in 10 years on Saturday night. The King had a terrific night for the purple and gold, recording a triple-double with 38 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists.
This will be the first time the Lakers landed in the big party since 2010, where the late Kobe Bryant took them there, where they beat the Boston Celtics in seven games. Moreover, Bron reached a personal milestone that only a handful of people can do during their NBA careers.
He has clinched his 10th NBA Finals appearance, something already remarkable. Yet, when you compare that to the appearances of the 30 teams in the league, James has more Finals appearances than 27 teams in the association.

He still can tie the Golden State Warriors next season if he makes it to the Finals once again but right now James has more Finals appearances than historic franchises like the Philadelphia 76ers (9), New York Knicks (8), Detroit Pistons (7), San Antonio Spurs (6) and Chicago Bulls (6).
James has been consistent and dominant throughout his career. He has led each team where he’s played to the Finals and has won at least one title with each of them. Now the Lakers are hoping to see the King do the same with them. This season is very important for them after all the things that happened and bringing a title to the City of Los Angeles will be the perfect way to turn things around for this franchise.
