Kristaps Porzingis’ name has been circling the league this week after reports suggest the Dallas Mavericks are looking to trade him, with teams like the Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards, and more keeping tabs on his situation in Dallas.

Mark Cuban stated that they’re not interested in trading the Latvian big man but that’s not what analysts believe. For instance, Marc J. Spears The Undefeated joined ESPN’s The Jump to talk about the buzz around the league and Porzingis’ name popped up. Spears said that regardless of what people are hearing, the Mavs are entertaining the idea of sending the big man to a different team for a variety of reasons.

“No matter what you’re hearing, they say keep an eye on Kristaps Porzingis. He is somebody that Dallas is shopping. Because of salary, injuries, and as one scout said ‘high maintenance issues’, perhaps it is a little difficult to trade him,” Spears said on Thursday.

After he was drafted by the New York Knicks, Porzingis left the Big Apple to going play in Dallas and now he could leave the Texan team the same way he left the New Yorkers. This situation is still developing and the trade deadline strikes on March 25. We could see a big move by the Mavs.

He was recently under fire and not precisely for his actions. In fact, one agent said that his brothers are the reason why he always gets traded; it happened with the Knicks and it can happen with the Mavericks.
