NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Willing To Hear Offers For Montrezl Harrell

2 Min Read

The 2021 trade deadline is expected to bring a lot of emotions for NBA fans and almost every team in the association will surely try to make some moves to improve the roster for the remainder of the season. The Los Angeles Lakers were one of those and it seems like after Anthony Davis and LeBron James’ injuries, the situation has gotten worse for them.

The purple and gold are ready to have an entertaining trade market and they’re reportedly willing to hear offers for one of their newest additions. According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Californians have received offers for the big man and they are ready to study if some are appealing. Moreover, the Charlotte Hornets have called the team to ask for the player and that could be a good possibility for the current NBA champions.

Hornets chief executive Mitch Kupchak is not known to swing many midseason deals, but the Indiana Pacers are a team to watch in this situation, sources said, as are the active Knicks. Perhaps there’s a deal that sends Myles Turner to Charlotte, which has long coveted a center, sources said, and the Pacers have maintained a willingness to discuss Turner dating back to last offseason.

The Hornets could find that frontcourt depth in Memphis’ Gorgui Dieng, whom the Grizzlies are looking to move before his contract expires at the end of the season. Charlotte has also called the Lakers about Montrezl Harrell, Los Angeles’ bruising center, sources said, and the reigning champions appear willing to entertain offers.

This is a very curious situation, knowing how well Trezz has played for the team. Plenty of fans are asking for Marc Gasol to be traded and the Lakers were also interested in dealing the Spanish player. This Harrell report comes as a total surprise but this is the NBA and things can get very interesting in the next couple of days.
