For NBA fans, players will come and go, eras will change, dynasties will rise and fall. But the one thing that will never go away is debate culture. NBA fans love to talk amongst each other about anything and everything in the game.

This culture is what makes NBA fans some of the most passionate fans in the world, as they would go to war for their players and teams. Whether it be fans of Michael Jordan or LeBron James, NBA fans will always strive to make sure that their point is heard and they end up on top.

Debates in the NBA world can range over a number of topics; which player is better, who played better during what time, which team would win, and of course, picking a fantasy lineup that would go 82-0 in a regular season.

The NBA has truly seen some legendary players, the likes of which we may never see again. Over the last 40 years, perhaps no 6 players have been more influential and transcendent for the game than Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry.

These players went on to have their own respective eras of dominance over the league, and have changed the way basketball is played for the rest of time. But if all 6 of these players were on the same team, who would be left on the bench?

This was the question posed to the NBA fanbase, and the results were truly something to witness. Many fans believe that Kobe should be left on the bench, using the argument that Jordan was a better version of him, so they wouldn’t lose much.

Whereas some others believe players like KD and Steph should be benched because of their poor defensive abilities. A few fans even wanted Jordan and LeBron on the bench, saying that they would get in the others’ way.

Regardless of who would be benched, this lineup would be a thing of beauty if we got to see them play. All 6 of these stars were mercurial talents who defined the NBA in a way that very few have been able to.
