Collin Sexton is a young player who has shown himself to be a capable scorer during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This season, he averaged 24.3 PPG, and he has increased his scoring averages every season.

Despite his natural scoring ability, it seems as though the Cleveland Cavaliers may not retain Collin Sexton. A recent report has suggested that Collin Sexton has drawn trade interest from the Miami Heat, the New York Knicks, and the Indiana Pacers.

It seems as though the reason the Cavaliers don’t want to keep Sexton is due to contract issues. While a rookie max contract is a large sum of money, Collin Sexton has shown that he may warrant it, as not many players can score like he can. However, if the Cavaliers want to move on, he would find a good fit with any of these teams.

The Miami Heat and the New York Knicks desperately need a multi-dimensional scorer, and Sexton would be a great addition to their existing cores. Even on the Indiana Pacers, Sexton would be able to team up with talented All-Star Domantas Sabonis. While it is still possible that the Cavaliers will end up staying with the Cavaliers, it seems as though many analysts have been linking him with an exit.
