LaMelo Ball has made the city of Charlotte buzz about the Hornets once again. The Charlotte Hornets became an exciting young team, with talents like Miles Bridges and P. J. Washington intermixed with veterans like Gordon Hayward. However, the main attraction has been LaMelo Ball, the rookie who dazzled audiences with his passes and his overall offensive game.

There’s no question that LaMelo Ball looks like a future star. While there are times stars end up leaving the small markets which drafted them, it seems as though rapper DaBaby doesn’t think that LaMelo Ball will leave any time soon, as he has stated his belief that Ball will spend his entire career in Charlotte.

It’s a Queen City thing, this don’t pertain to y’all. Bro ain’t never leaving, I just talked to him, he fin’ sign up for 20 years, whole career, right there in the city.

DaBaby has repped the Charlotte Hornets in some of his music videos, and perhaps that will continue in the future, especially with the franchise having an exciting future prospect like LaMelo Ball. Perhaps LaMelo Ball can bring competitive basketball back to the city, and perhaps lead them deep into the playoffs in the future.
