The Greatest Photo Of All Time: Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Moses Malone And Cynthia Cooper-Duke

Some of the greatest photos in basketball history are etched in the brain and hearts of many in the NBA community: MJ’s “the shrug,” the stepover, Wilt’s “100 points,” the Bron and Wade alley-oop, and (of course) Jerry West’s signature dribble, which is the NBA’s logo.

There’s really a lot of awesome moments out there and we’re lucky enough to have captured a lot of them on camera.

But perhaps the greatest photo of them all is one very people actually knew about.

In a Twitter post by Adam Howes, he included a photo of some of the best ballers in the history of the world: Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Moses Malone, and former WNBA superstar Cynthia Cooper-Duke. Between the six of them, they’ve tallied a combined 156,632 career points and 19 Championships.

Howes made a follow-up tweet, asking Cooper-Duke for a time-stamp on the photo, which was later revealed to be during the 2006 All-Star game in Houston.

That’s about right!

It’s rare to see generational legends together in one photo, so the fact that there’s six here (and that they happen to feature the greatest basketball players ever) is quite amazing.

While we don’t know the full scope of the relationship between Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, and Carmelo, it’s fair to say that they had (and still have) a tremendous amount of respect for each other.

Considering all that has happened this year, it’s nice to see something so wholesome. If anybody else has got anything like this, now would be the time to share!
