Luka Doncic Had A 5-Year Plan Before The Start Of His First NBA Season

Luka Doncic is one of the most charismatic players the league has seen in a while. He took the NBA by storm from day one and has dealt with fame in high fashion, even partying with pop-culture giants like Bad Bunny on his past birthday.

However, Doncic’s rise to stardom is far from unexpected. As a matter of fact, the reigning Rookie of the Year had it all figured out long before he made his NBA debut, according to a recently published video from Bleacher Report of his plan for his first 5 seasons in the league:

“Year 1: I want to win Rookie of the Year, I want to posterize Porzingis, I want to be king of New York. Sorry, KP”, Doncic started.

“Year 2: I want to take care of my people and start a business in Ljubljana. I want my own signature shoes. All-NBA. Playoffs. All-Star. Yo, Steph. Pick me,” he continued.

“Year 3: I think I’ll need a new car… or two. And then maybe appear in a Drake song. ‘You used to call me on my cellphone’. And then I am going to shoot my shot. ‘Hey Jen (Jennifer Aniston), you up?” Doncic added.

“Year 4: Train with the best (LeBron James). And finally, MVP of the league. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” the video continued.

“Year 5: We finally win it. NBA champions. It’s all about the ring,” he concluded.

While he didn’t posterize Porzingis and ended up being teammates with him instead, it seems like he’s right on schedule with the rest of his plan (I’m not so sure about the Jennifer Aniston part, though).

He made his first All-Star appearance this season, led the Dallas Mavericks to a playoff berth, and seems like a lock to make the All-NBA team after averaging 28.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 2.9 three-pointers and 1.1 steals per game on 46% shooting. In fact, perhaps that MVP could come long before his prediction. Check out the hilarious video below:
