Charles Barkley has spoken out his mind on snubbing complaints about the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. The NBA legend is in Chicago attending the biggest weekend of the season and he made sure to leave some interesting takes regarding the big game and the weekend in general.

He received a lot of questions about All-Star Game snubbing complaints, but he was very clear about his instance. First of all, he was asked about Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls star, and his response was short and clear:

Charles Barkley on the state of the Chicago Bulls, including Zach LaVine not getting an All-Star appearance: “He didn’t deserve it.” Why not? Barkley: “He didn’t deserve it.” pic.twitter.com/8WJYduRjzL

Barkley: “He didn’t deserve it.”Why not?Barkley: “Because he didn’t deserve it.”

Moreover, when he talked about the rest of the players complaining about their noninclusion in the ASG, Chuck went further to explain that guys on losing teams don’t have the right to be ‘snubbed’.

TNT’s Charles Barkley on “snubbing” complaints for 2020 NBA All-Star Game: “When you’re 5-75, you don’t have the right to be snubbed. All the guys who said they were snubbed were on the worst teams. You’re not even competitive. When you’re in last place, you don’t deserve it.” pic.twitter.com/0lLcbfTk2L

“When you’re 5-75, you don’t have the right to be snubbed. Seriously. All the guys that say they got snubbed are on the worst teams in the NBA. You’re not even competitive. If your team is pretty good, you can get snubbed. But if your team is in last place, you’re not snubbed. You don’t deserve it.”

Of course, this wasn’t well received by some players, including Bradley Beal, who didn’t hesitate to clap back at the former Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns star.

On Thursday night, Beal took to Twitter to reply to Chuck’s comment, leaving a short message.

But you made it and didn’t make the play…nvm 🤦🏽‍♂️ lol https://t.co/Gs5v9sPdKH

“But you made it and didn’t make the play…nvm lol,” he wrote.

Beal later noted that he wasn’t ignoring Barkley’s trips to the playoffs or his MVP award. He was merely noting that Barkley had played in All-Star games during years he played on losing teams.

Right now there is nothing anybody can do to change the players on Team LeBron and Team Giannis. Fans, media, and players voted and they made their decision. Still, this won’t be the last time we see this type of controversy.
