  • Jimmy Butler hilariously denies a kid reporter’s request to lower the price of his coffee
  • Butler says the prices are going up for his ‘Big Face Coffee’
  • The Miami Heat superstar joked about raising the price to $25 and $50 for the kid and her father

During the 2020 Orlando Bubble, Jimmy Butler started selling coffee at $20 a cup to players as a side hustle. Since then, Butler has turned ‘Big Face Coffee’ into a legitimate business.

But let’s be honest; $20 for a cup of coffee is certainly too expensive for most. Butler was recently confronted about the price of his coffee by a kid reporter (Jazyln Guerra). The 33-year-old hilariously further increased the price of his brand’s coffee for the kid and her father.

Jazyl Guerra: “Well, I know that your coffee is $20, and that is a little too pricey for my dad and me. It kinda is. It’s kind of expensive. So, I’m just asking- I just need to ask you something. Would you mind giving me a coupon for it?”

Jimmy Butler: “A coupon? We don’t have coupons at Big Face Coffee. Prices are going up. So, for you, it’s now $25, for your dad, it’s $50. So, whenever it does open up, make sure that you come. No coupon with your 25 bucks.”

Jimmy has no chill 😭

Jimmy Butler is pretty hilarious and never backs down from interacting with fans. It’s one of the biggest reasons why he’s so loved by the NBA community.

But it seems like Jimmy is not interested in making his coffee affordable for the mass anytime soon. After all, your average person cannot regularly afford a $20 coffee.

Jimmy Butler Had A Heart Touching Moment With A Young Fan In China

Jimmy Butler had an amazing time during his recent China tour. He was showered with love by basketball fans in the country.

Speaking of which, a young fan had a touching moment with the Miami Heat superstar. The fan explained how seeing Jimmy played in the 2023 playoffs gave him strength to face his own challenges.

“When I tried to give up, I reminded myself how you performed in the playoffs this season. Your strength taught me how to face challenges. Even our team lost in the school tournament, I think we will be much better just as you did.”

It’s great to see Butler impacting the lives of young fans in a positive way. Butler will once again try to win an NBA title in the 2023-24 season after making it to the Finals two times in the last four seasons.
