  • The Nets will be banking on Mikal Bridges to help them go the distance this upcoming season

Mikal Bridges got his groove on with Josh Hart and RJ Barrett at Jalen Brunson’s wedding on Saturday.

In a Twitter clip doing the rounds, the Brooklyn Nets star was seen partying with New York Knicks stars Hart and Barrett. You can watch the clip below:

Bridges were seen rocking a white blazer and a black bow, while Barrett was in an all-black attire. Brunson married Ali Marks, who he proposed in 2022.

The offseason is in full swing, and Brunson was one of the players who got married recently. Earlier, it was Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid who had the wedding bells ringing.

As for Bridges, Hart, and Barrett… well, nothing like some off-season fun before a grueling season gets underway in a few months now.

The Brooklyn Nets Plan To Rebuild Around Mikal Bridges

The blockbuster Kevin Durant trade brought the Brooklyn Nets, who played 83 games this season and became the No. 1 option on the Nets.

Previously, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has said the Nets are planning on rebuilding around Mikal and not trading him.

“Mikal Bridges is a guy they’re going to build around… The kind of offers the Nets have gotten for him speaks to how valuable he is, a player, I think for Brooklyn, they keep in place for the next big star that’s available in a trade.”

This past season, Bridges averaged 26.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists after being traded to the Nets. The team wasn’t the greatest, as they almost fell into the play-in tournament after being the third seed when Durant and Kyrie Irving were moved.

The Nets can look at a proper rebuild with all the assets on their roster. Chances are they have a win-now move planned to maximize Bridges’ on the lineup.
