The Golden State Warriors are heading back to the Chase Center to try and pull off a 3-1 series comeback against the Los Angeles Lakers after two demoralizing losses in LA.

Reports about tension in the locker room after Game 4 made the rounds, but Ramona Shelbourne has given a clarification of the emotions after the game.

“I’ve seen bad locker rooms. That didn’t feel like a bad locker room. [The Warriors] were pissed, disappointed, more mad at themselves. A bad locker room is when they don’t think they can win. That was not a down locker room, they were angry.”

Anger or negative emotions don’t always have to be the signal of doom for a team. The Warriors are going through the most adversity they have since their failed run to the 2021 playoffs, which was also ended by the Lakers. They have the leadership and experience to bounce back, and if there’s any team that could pull off a 3-1 comeback this season, it’s them as the reigning champions.

A Comeback On The Cards?

The sentiment from Stephen Curry after Game 4 does show his belief in making this comeback. Even Anthony Davis has warned everyone by reminding them that the Warriors have come back from 3-1 before. It is easier said than done, but the Golden State will push to ensure they can come back.

Game 5 is at the Chase Center, and many already assume the Lakers will take their foot off the gas for that game. The Warriors need to push for a statement win and then give everything they have in Game 6, which will take place in LA. If they can take these two games, they will steal momentum ahead of Game 7 and possibly become the 14th team in NBA history to pull this feat off.
