Forward Draymond Green is a key defensive player for the Golden State Warriors, and there’s no doubt that he has been stellar for them over the course of many playoff runs. After his stomp on Domantas Sabonis in Game 2, Draymond Green was suspended for Game 3. The league notably justified the suspension due to Green’s status as a “repeat offender” in terms of making unsportsmanlike plays. Recently, Draymond Green opened up on the league creating “Draymond rules” to justify his suspension, noting that he will continue to play the game the way he does. “They created ‘Draymond rules’ before, them s**ts don’t work. Here I am, still sitting here, still winning. They created those rules before. They didn’t work. They still don’t work. So, maybe they did [create them],” Green said. “But Draymond won’t be moved by no ‘Draymond rules.’ I will continue to play the game how I play the game, operate how I operate, be exactly who I am because that leads to winning. If I was losing they wouldn’t be creating Draymond rules, so as long as they’re creating ‘Draymond rules’ that means we’re winning.”

In the playoffs this season, Draymond Green has averaged 6.0 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 8.0 APG in two games for the Warriors. Hopefully, he can help the Warriors to another win in Game 4, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
Stephen Curry Was Frustrated With The League For Suspending Draymond Green
Though the Warriors did manage to win Game 3 without Draymond Green, it is clear that the decision to suspend him could have cost the Warriors the series. In fact, Stephen Curry previously blasted the league for making a “bad decision” on that suspension.
“Understanding how bad of a decision I think the league made on suspending him, you’re frustrated with that,” Curry said. “We have a job to do and there’s nothing we can do about it. … We obviously understand the consequences of if we lost tonight, and nobody wanted to feel that.”
Most people in the Warriors organization likely feel that Draymond Green’s suspension was unjustified. Perhaps they can use it as fuel to try and win this series and another championship, and we should never count out their dynasty when it comes to winning at the highest level.
