Paul George believes Damon Idris is the perfect actor to play the LA Clippers star if there would be a biopic of him in the near future.

“It’s Idris easily, he’s my favorite actor now,” he said on his Podcast P With Paul George. “I gotta go with Franklin. I’ve seen him on nothing else but Snowfall. I’m a fan of his, so I’ll pick him.”

“BODIES, BODIES, BODIES!!!” 🤣

For those unaware, Damson Idris was one of the breakout actors on TV for his scintillating work on FX’s crime thriller drama, ‘Snowfall.’ The British actor plays Franklin Saint, an ambitious and gutsy 19-year-old drug dealer in Los Angeles.

It makes sense that George would prefer Idris play him in his biopic. The 21-year-old had fast-cemented himself as one of the in-demand actors in Hollywood, and there’s no doubt that he could do justice to playing George.

When Will Paul George Return For The LA Clippers?

Paul George’s knee injury will see him sit out for some more time as the Clippers gear up for their playoff run. The guard suffered a knee injury on March 21 against the Oklahoma City Thunder and was set to be evaluated in 2-3 weeks.

“I don’t know what my timetable is, to be honest,” George said on his podcast. “I’m going to do whatever I can do to shorten the process of when I can return. But I don’t know when that date is.”

At the time of writing, the Clippers are placed fifth in the West with a 42-38 record and tied with the Golden State Warriors (sixth) in these standings. They play the Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns in their last two games — both of which will see George miss out.

Winning both their remaining games will take the Clippers to 44 and give them a chance to finish as the fifth seed this season. Only time will tell if they can make a deep playoff run and if George would suit up for them soon enough.
