Former NBA Star Says He Feels Bad For LeBron James And Reveals The Harsh Truth About The Lakers

After a slow start to the season, LeBron James has been on a tear over the last month. Since his return from injury back on the 25th of November, LeBron has averaged 29.8 PPG, 7.6 RPG, and 6.5 APG while shooting an efficient 52.3% from the field.

For all his great play, however, the Los Angeles Lakers are in total free fall. They have lost four games in a row to drop to 13-20 on the season and are 13th in the standings in the Western Conference. The latest defeat came at the hands of Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, despite LeBron scoring a game-high 38 points. Former NBA player Chandler Parsons said on FanDuel TV that he feels sorry for James as he doesn’t know what more LeBron can do.

(starts at 19:55 mark):

“Be frustrated, I mean LeBron was hot from the start… This is just super frustrating for LeBron because he’s dominating, no other starter in double digits, I don’t know what else he can do. We can’t keep beating on the personnel that they have but they’re not a good team. They don’t have much, they don’t have shooting, this is a game like I feel bad for LeBron in a way, it’s tough.”

You do have to feel for him in this situation, but he does deserve some blame for the way this roster is constructed. He also decided to extend his contract despite all of the shortcomings of the Lakers’ front office, and there’s nowhere for him to go now. The only way this team starts winning games with any kind of regularity is when Anthony Davis comes back, and it seems his return might not be too far away.

Adrian Wojnarowski Provided A Positive Injury Update On Anthony Davis

After Davis went down with that foot injury against the Denver Nuggets, the initial reporting around it was that he would be on the sidelines for quite some time. Brian Windhorst and Rob Perez provided some worrying updates on his status, while another report indicated he could be out for 2-3 months.

Lakers fans were hitting the panic button, but Adrian Wojnarowski allayed their fears by saying that Davis might not even require any kind of procedure on his foot. He stated that the pain has subsided for AD and that he’d be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days. He could potentially be back a lot sooner than anticipated, which is great news.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
