The Los Angeles Lakers have received terrible news today, as Anthony Davis is set to be sidelined for a considerable time. The big man exited the Denver Nuggets game on Friday night, setting the alarms for the Purple and Gold.

He was set to undergo an MRI after exiting a game the Lakers ended up winning, and now the results are back, showing nothing promising for the Los Angeles Lakers. Davis was just having a terrific season, getting back to his best version, leading the Lakers to get huge wins as they tried to climb positions on the Western Conference standings.

Now, things could be completely different for them, as AD will be out for some time. This is the worst news they could get now, and everybody knows this is crucial for the Lakers’ aspirations this season.

Los Angeles Lakers Receive Bad News On Anthony Davis’ Injury

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Davis has a right foot injury and will be sidelined for a significant time. He will be out of action for at least one month, which is terrible for the Purple and Gold.

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is expected to miss at least one month after suffering a right foot injury, multiple sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

“Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is expected to miss at least one month after suffering a right foot injury,” Charania wrote on Twitter.

With the likes of LeBron James playing at a high level and Russell Westbrook thriving off the bench, the Lakers are in a good position to compete right now, but it’s clear that they would be better with AD on the court.

The Lakers have been linked with a trade in recent days, and it’s unclear which way they would get. Some say they will wait at least one more month to make a move, but this development could force them to make a trade.

We wish Davis a speedy recovery, as the Lakers need him at the best level to compete for a playoff spot this season.
