Stephen Curry made history once again, becoming the first player in NBA history to hit 4,000 career three-pointers as the Golden State Warriors cruised past the Sacramento Kings 130-104 on Thursday night for their sixth straight win and 11th in 12 games. The Chase Center erupted when Curry knocked down the milestone shot from the right wing in the third quarter, and a tribute played on the big screen during a timeout.

Playing a day before his 37th birthday, the two-time MVP finished with 11 points, while Draymond Green led the way with 23. Jonathan Kuminga made a strong return from injury, scoring 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting, and Jimmy Butler contributed across the board with six points, seven assists, and five rebounds, helping the Warriors improve to 13-2 with him in the lineup.

Steve Kerr also tied Warriors legend Al Attles for the most coaching wins in franchise history with 557. Golden State’s hot shooting carried over from their previous game, as they torched Sacramento from deep, going 22-of-39 (56.4%) from beyond the arc to dominate the struggling Kings, who have now lost three straight. Let’s provide a rating for every Warriors player for his performance on Thursday night.

Draymond Green: A

Stats: 23 PTS, 4 REB (0 OREB, 4 DREB), 4 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 4 TO, 4 PF, 8-14 FG, 4-7 3PT, 3-4 FT, +12, 29 MIN

Green led the Warriors with an impressive all-around performance, scoring 23 points while knocking down four three-pointers. He set the tone with his energy, facilitating the offense and playing solid defense, adding a steal and a block. His ability to stretch the floor complemented the Warriors’ hot shooting night, though his four turnovers and four fouls were blemishes on an otherwise dominant game.

Jonathan Kuminga: B+

Stats: 18 PTS, 3 REB (0 OREB, 3 DREB), 1 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 2 PF, 7-10 FG, 0-1 3PT, 4-6 FT, +8, 20 MIN

Returning from injury, Kuminga looked sharp, scoring 18 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting. He attacked the rim aggressively and played within the flow of the offense, showing no signs of rust. While his rebounding numbers were low, his ability to score efficiently and provide a spark off the bench helped keep the Warriors in control.

Moses Moody: B+

Stats: 17 PTS, 4 REB (1 OREB, 3 DREB), 6 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK, 1 TO, 3 PF, 4-7 FG, 4-6 3PT, 5-6 FT, +12, 30 MIN

Moody made a strong impact on both ends, finishing with 17 points while contributing six assists and two steals. He was a key part of the Warriors’ three-point barrage, knocking down four of his six attempts from deep. His defensive effort and ability to make plays for others made him one of Golden State’s most effective players on the night.

Buddy Hield: B+

Stats: 16 PTS, 4 REB (0 OREB, 4 DREB), 5 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 0 PF, 6-10 FG, 4-6 3PT, 0-1 FT, +17, 20 MIN

Hield delivered a solid scoring performance, hitting four three-pointers en route to 16 points while also dishing out five assists. He provided the kind of spacing the Warriors thrive on, keeping the Kings’ defense scrambling. His efficiency (6-of-10 shooting) and zero turnovers made him a valuable contributor in the win.

Gary Payton II: B

Stats: 11 PTS, 4 REB (1 OREB, 3 DREB), 2 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK, 1 TO, 1 PF, 4-6 FG, 3-4 3PT, 0-0 FT, +11, 21 MIN

Payton had an efficient outing, scoring 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting while playing his usual high-energy defense. He was effective from beyond the arc, making three of his four attempts, and his presence on the floor helped disrupt Sacramento’s offensive rhythm. Though he didn’t rack up steals, his defensive pressure made a difference.

Stephen Curry: C+

Stats: 11 PTS, 2 REB (0 OREB, 2 DREB), 5 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 2 TO, 4 PF, 4-9 FG, 2-6 3PT, 1-1 FT, +15, 30 MIN

While Curry made history by hitting his 4,000th career three-pointer, it wasn’t his most dominant game. He finished with 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting, including just 2-of-6 from deep. He contributed five assists and played solid team defense, but his four fouls and two turnovers limited his impact. Still, the milestone moment made the night special.

Gui Santos: C+

Stats: 10 PTS, 5 REB (1 OREB, 4 DREB), 3 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK, 1 TO, 0 PF, 4-4 FG, 2-2 3PT, 0-0 FT, +21, 18 MIN

Santos made the most of his minutes, scoring 10 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting while adding five rebounds and three assists. His energy and efficiency were noticeable, and his ability to knock down both of his three-point attempts was a plus. Though his role was limited, he played well within the team system.

Quinten Post: C+

Stats: 10 PTS, 4 REB (1 OREB, 3 DREB), 0 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 2 TO, 2 PF, 3-7 FG, 3-7 3PT, 1-2 FT, +9, 21 MIN

Post provided solid floor spacing, scoring 10 points while hitting three of his seven three-point attempts. He was active on the glass with four rebounds and even chipped in defensively with a steal and a block. While his efficiency could have been better, his ability to stretch the floor helped keep Golden State’s offense flowing.

Jimmy Butler III: C+

Stats: 6 PTS, 5 REB (1 OREB, 4 DREB), 7 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 2 TO, 0 PF, 2-5 FG, 0-0 3PT, 2-2 FT, +2, 28 MIN

Butler didn’t have a big scoring night, finishing with just six points, but he made up for it with his playmaking, dishing out seven assists. He also contributed five rebounds and played steady defense, showing his versatility. Though his shooting was unremarkable, his ability to impact the game in multiple ways was valuable.

Kevon Looney: C+

Stats: 6 PTS, 6 REB (1 OREB, 5 DREB), 1 AST, 0 STL, 1 BLK, 1 TO, 4 PF, 2-3 FG, 0-0 3PT, 2-2 FT, +11, 17 MIN

Looney did his job as a reliable presence in the paint, scoring six points while grabbing six rebounds. He also added a block and shot efficiently, going 2-for-3 from the field. While his four fouls limited his time on the floor, he remained a steady force in the Warriors’ frontcourt.

Pat Spencer: N/A

Stats: 2 PTS, 0 REB, 0 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 1 PF, 1-3 FG, 0-0 3PT, 0-0 FT, +6, 3 MIN

Spencer played only three minutes, scoring two points on 1-of-3 shooting. With limited opportunities, he didn’t have much of a chance to make an impact, though he contributed to the team’s energy in garbage time.

Trayce Jackson-Davis: N/A

Stats: 0 PTS, 2 REB (1 OREB, 1 DREB), 1 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 0 PF, 0-0 FG, 0-0 3PT, 0-0 FT, +6, 3 MIN

Jackson-Davis grabbed two rebounds and dished out an assist in his three minutes of action. He didn’t attempt a shot, but his brief stint on the floor helped close out the game in a blowout win.
