We are currently in the middle of the NBA playoffs, and the atmosphere in the postseason is always tense. We often see games go down to the wire, and sometimes, tempers on the court end up flaring.
Recently, there was a video featuring Kyle Lowry and De’Andre Hunter getting into an altercation during the Atlanta Hawks-Miami Heat game. The duo was assessed double technicals after the situation. It seems as though this started at the beginning of the possession when Lowry ran into Hunter.

The altercation didn’t end up escalating to anything overly physical, and the duo was separated from one another almost immediately. It was good to see that nobody got hurt, and it seems as though the double technicals were a fair way to resolve this in a fair manner.
As of right now, the goal for both the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks will be to win this game. The Atlanta Hawks are trying to steal one on the road and even up the series, while the Miami Heat will be looking to extend their lead and assert that they are the better team. The first game was a blowout in the Miami Heat’s favor, but this second game seems a lot closer.
The Miami Heat will likely be the favorites for the series. They have an elite amount of depth, as well as some star power in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. They finished as the No. 1 seed in the regular season, and many view them as a legitimate contender for the title, though others are doubtful about their chances.
The Atlanta Hawks are not a team that will just roll over though, as they are led by mercurial point guard Trae Young. He is producing offensively like a superstar, and it is quite possible that the Hawks will be able to take a game or two from the Heat. What’s certain is that this will be an exciting series, and hopefully, it goes the whole 7 games.
