Anthony Davis Wants His No. 3 To Be In The Rafters For The Los Angeles Lakers

1 Min Read

Anthony Davis won his first championship with the Los Angeles Lakers alongside LeBron James during the 2019-20 season. There is no question that Davis was a key part of the championship run, and by winning a ring, Anthony Davis has added one of the missing pieces to his Hall of Fame-caliber resume.

There is no doubt that Anthony Davis’s tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers has been successful for the most part thus far, and he will have an opportunity to compete for another championship next season. Perhaps one day, Anthony Davis’s No. 3 can join the other retired jerseys with the Los Angeles Lakers. In a recent Twitch stream, Davis has stated that the plan is for his No. 3 to be hanging with the rafters, and it seems as though that is the reason he didn’t change numbers.

There’s no denying that Anthony Davis is already an accomplished player, and perhaps he could achieve even greater heights with the Los Angeles Lakers. While getting one’s jersey for the Lakers is a difficult task, it seems as though Anthony Davis is up for the challenge.
