Ashley Nicole Moss took to Twitter with a colorful commentary on the atmosphere as Celtics fans poured into TD Garden for Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Her tweet captured the intensity and fervor of the Boston faithful. Moss had initially predicted a win for the Dallas Mavericks in seven games. However, as the series progressed, she showed admiration for the Celtics’ players through multiple tweets. About Jrue Holiday, she noted his resilience, referring to him as the epitome of “getting your lick back” and praising the full-circle nature of his contributions.

“Jrue Holiday is the epitome of getting your lick back. the way this just came full circle is craaaaaaaaazyyyyyy.”

On Jaylen Brown, who was named the Finals MVP, she expressed her happiness, celebrating his well-deserved accolade.

“Happy as hell for Jaylen Brown.”

Despite her support for the Celtics’ players, Moss couldn’t hide her mixed feelings regarding Kristaps Porzingis, a former New York Knicks star.

“Kristaps Porzingis won a chip before the Knicks … i’m not okay, like AT ALL.”

She lamented the fact that Porzingis won a championship before her beloved Knicks, indicating her deep-seated disappointment with her team’s struggles.

Nonetheless, she acknowledged the Celtics’ achievement, admitting that the victory was well-earned by a group of players who had faced significant challenges and persevered through them.

“All jokes (and the fact that Celtics fans are happy) aside, this couldn’t have happened to a better group of players. a longggggg time coming for this group in one way, shape or form … happy for them, truly.”

The Celtics’ dominant performance in Game 5, which culminated in a 106-88 victory over the Mavericks, underscored their superiority throughout the series.

Jayson Tatum led the charge with 31 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Their combined efforts, along with contributions from Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, sealed the win and secured the championship for Boston.

The Celtics’ journey to their 18th title was marked by resilience and growth. Tatum and Brown, who had faced criticism and doubts over the years, finally silenced their detractors by leading their team to victory. The victory not only elevated their status but also solidified the Celtics’ place atop the list of all-time NBA champions, breaking their tie with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Moss’s tweets encapsulated the rollercoaster of emotions felt by fans and players alike, celebrating the Celtics’ hard-fought triumph while acknowledging the bitter reality of supporting teams that fall short. Her insights highlighted the passion and drama inherent in the world of sports, making the Boston Celtics‘ victory even more memorable.
