The Denver Nuggets are still celebrating their 2023 NBA championship but that doesn’t mean they’re not thinking of defending the title next year. This is a well-constructed team that can make a lot of noise for many years.

While Draymond Green believes that dynasties will be a thing of the past once the new CBA kicks in, others think the Nuggets can defy and beat the odds with their talented team. Bull Simmons, for instance, believes that the Nuggets will compete and win championships for the rest of the decade.

“I’m ready for the conversation, I don’t think this is a fluke, this team is going to be here for the rest of the decade. They’re going to be able to keep it together, and I think this is the beginning of something,” Simmons said on his self-named podcast

The Nuggets have an incredible team, led by Nikola Jokic. The Serbian big man put up a big show during the playoffs, leading his team series after series, making it clear they were ready to go all the way to the championship. After this run, he’s officially the greatest Nugget of all time

After taking out the Minnesota Timberwolves in the First Round, Jokic and co. took care of the Kevin Durant and Devin Booker-led Phoenix Suns in the Second Round. The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t stand a chance against Denver, getting swept in the Western Conference Finals.

Once the Finals arrived, Jokic took it to the next level, beating the Miami Heat in five games. The Joker averaged 30.2 points, 14.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists during this series, ultimately earning Finals MVP honors.

The Denver Nuggets Have A Bright Future With Nikola Jokic And Jamal Murray

Jokic had a big supporting cast, starting with Jamal Murray, who never shied away when the ball got heavier. The Nuggets had Bruce Brown, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and more role players that helped the team win series after series until they got the championship.

They are set to keep most of these players, meaning the Nuggets will have more than one chance to repeat as NBA champions and create another dynasty in the league.
