Breaking: Houston Rockets Send Victor Oladipo To Miami

1 Min Read

Although the Houston Rockets showed their desire to keep him, Victor Oladipo is now headed to Miami after the team agreed to a deal for the combo guard with the Heat. Oladipo landed in Houston in the blockbuster 4-team deal that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets but it was unclear if he was going to stick around with the Texans.

They offered him a contract extension and he rejected it and now is headed to a new city to play with a new franchise. Victor is still trying to recover the level he had a couple of seasons ago when he won the Most Improved Player award and became an All-Star.

The struggling Rockets receive Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and a draft swap for the guard after just two months of relationship between them. They need to make some changes if they want to be competitive again and this move could be the beginning of that. Oladipo is averaging 20.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 29 games with the Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets.
