Buddy Hield May Have Just Told The World He Wants A Trade To The Sixers

2 Min Read

Buddy Hield wants out of Sacramento, and it’s officially the worst kept secret in the NBA.

After years of finishing below the playoff line, things only got worse this past season when Buddy and other core players created a toxic locker room situation that lacked trust and togetherness. Long story short, many of the players in Sacramento just don’t like each other, and changes are an inevitability this offseason.

While we don’t yet know what those changes will be, Buddy himself may have already hinted at his preferred destination.

If you follow his recent activity on Instagram, you’ll notice some interesting behavior by the Sacramento guard about him potentially becoming a Sixer.

Some liked Tweets are far from this becoming a reality, but if any team in the league has the motive to trade for Hield, it’s Philly. As they search for answers following another disappointing season, they know that finding a shooter/scorer is necessary if they want to improve. In that department, Hield is one of the best in the business, knocking 41% of his shots beyond the arc for his career.

Whether it’s with Simmons, Embiid, or both (somehow), Buddy is a pretty ideal fit in Philadelphia.

But, obviously, they won’t be the only team on the market for his services. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the weeks and months to come.
