The Golden State Warriors have started the Western Conference Finals on a great note. Stephen Curry and co. completely outplayed the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 as they registered a tremendous 25-point victory.

Moving forward, Warriors fans will be hoping to see more of the same from their franchise and make their return to the NBA Finals. Speaking of fans, the Dubs arguably have one of the best fan bases in the NBA right now.

Having such a great fan base helps the team in playing even better, especially during home games. The Warriors took advantage of the home advantage by winning the first game of the series.

The fans were quite vocal throughout the game, but they started that even before the match began. Former NBA superstar and current analyst Charles Barkley tried to pick a bone with the Warriors fans. He greeted the Warriors fans with a hilarious chant about their opponents, the Dallas Mavericks:

“Let’s go Mavs. Let’s go Mavs. Let’s go Mavs,” Barkley chanted outside the Chase Center.

Obviously, Warriors fans didn’t like this chant by Chuck and bombarded the NBA analyst with a lot of boos. Additionally, when Barkley was giving his postgame analysis, Barkley was showered with “Barkley Sucks” chants by the Warriors fans.

At the end of the day, the Dubs fans had the last laugh as their team comfortably defeated the Mavericks in the first game of the series.

The biggest reason for this defeat was that Luka Doncic didn’t play like himself and was comfortably defended by the Warriors throughout the matchup. Hopefully, next time around fans will get a closer competition between the two sides. This will help in making the WCF more competitive and fun to watch for NBA fans all around the globe.
