Chris Paul and Devin Booker continue their good moment in the 2021 NBA playoffs, becoming the first team in the association to make it to the Conference Finals. They had no mercy with the Denver Nuggets, sweeping them and confirming they are ready to play for big things this season.
After eliminating the 2020 NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers, the Phoenix Suns continued their good pace, knocking out the 2021 MVP Nikola Jokic and co. Great as they are, the leaders of the Suns have faced criticism in the past couple of seasons.
Now that they are winning, they clapped back at their haters. Booker sent a big message to his doubters after the game, making it clear that he’s ready to play for important things.
“I feel really good. I’ve been waiting for this for a really long time. A lot of people have been saying I haven’t played meaningful basketball and I’m not ready for that. It’s my time to prove it. The whole team’s having fun with it.”

CP3 had the same energy, firing back at his doubters for dismissing him a couple of years ago. This man keeps getting better at 36, becoming one of the 5 best point guards to ever play the game.
“A couple of years ago they were writing me off. This ain’t about me. It’s about us.”

These guys are fired up and waiting for their rivals in the WCF. Either it’s the Utah Jazz or Los Angeles Clippers, they will have a tough time trying to beat the inspired Suns. They have come a long way and seeing their level in the first two rounds of the postseason, Monty Williams’ team is a big candidate to win it all this season.
