Dwight Howard’s career in the NBA may be over, but the big man is still playing basketball in Taiwan.
Speaking of which, upon seeing some recent big names, such as Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Klay Thompson, get eliminated, Howard had a hilarious reaction to it. The 2019-20 NBA champion recruited them to form a superteam in Taiwan.
“Jordan Poole, come on. Julius Randle, come on. Ben Simmons, come on, man. Nobody beating nobody. Klay, you can slide down here too, my boy. Deandre Ayton, you and CP3, come on. KD, come on, KD. They talking ’bout him coming back to Houston, but I think this might be a better look, James Harden, come on down too, boy.”

Despite being criticized for playing outside of the NBA, Dwight Howard is seemingly enjoying his time in Taiwan. But that doesn’t mean that the 37-year-old would let a golden chance to criticize the superstars in the league.
Howard wants superstar players to play in Taiwan since they made early exits from the 2023 NBA playoffs. It initially started with just throwing shade at Chris Paul and the Suns after losing Game 6 vs. the Denver Nuggets, but no player is now safe from Dwight’s wrath, it seems.
Dwight Howard Recently Did A Hilarious Commercial In Taiwan
The chances of Dwight Howard returning to the NBA are close to zero now. But does that mean he cannot enjoy his time in Taiwan? Most certainly not.
In fact, Howard recently shot a hilarious commercial in Taiwan. He received some backlash for the commercial. Howard fired back at people with a wise tweet.
“In 100 years none of us will be here. Just go live. And no more English especially if it’s negative.”

Anyway, no matter how much Dwight tries to recruit NBA stars, they will not play in Taiwan, at least not right now. After all, the players that he called out still have plenty left in the tank.
If there’s one player who may realistically play in Taiwan, it’s Ben Simmons. Simmons has struggled to find his touch since joining the Brooklyn Nets.
